Once the WordPress Responsive Menu plugin has been installed (Free or Pro), activation is very quick and simple. There are 2 methods for activating the plugin and both are covered below:

If you have followed the installation guide previously, you will see a screen that looks similar to the below:

Install Plugin - Installed

All you need to do at this point is click the “Activate Plugin” text link and the plugin will be activated on your site for you.

The second method is also very easy. Simply navigate on the left sidebar to the option “Plugins”, then click “Installed Plugins” on the menu options once hovered over, as below:

Installed Plugins

Next, look down the list for the plugin “Responsive Menu” or “Responsive Menu Pro” depending on which version you have and click the “Activate” text link, as shown by the red arrow in the image below:

Activate Plugin

As you will notice from the image above, you can have both plugins installed at the same time. This is done so by using the pro version you can responsify more than one menu on your site at the same time. The only drawback to this is that options will need to be configured again on the pro version and can’t be imported from the free.

Congratulations, now the Responsive Menu plugin has been installed successfully on your site, let’s get configuring!
